This change adds support for DNS over TLS to the ipareplica role.
New variables
ipareplica_dot_forwarders
List of DNS over TLS forwarders. Required if ipareplica_dns_over_tls
is enabled. (list of strings)
required: false
ipareplica_dns_over_tls | ipaclient_dns_over_tls

New distribution specific variable
ipareplica_packages_dot
List of IPA packages needed for DNS over TLS.
When running under Mitogen, ipa_server and ipa_replica breaks execution
by overwriting sys.stdout with sys.stdout.
With Mitogen, sys.stdout != sys.stdout at this point in the code, and
changing it in this manner results in access to closed file descriptors
for future invocations. Generally, it is recommended not to use
sys.stdout and instead explicitly cache the current value of sys.stdout.
Python's module "pkg_resources" API has been deprecated in Python 3.12
and will be removed in a future release, and recent FreeIPA versions
provide a replacement for pkg_resources.parse_version.
To remove ansible-freeipa dependency on pkg_resources and not add a
dependency on the 'packaging' module, which is not available in the
standard Python distribution, we'll try to import the funcion used in
FreeIPA to parse versions, and fallback to pkg_resources when it fails.
As an equivalent class is needed, a fallback function is not provided
and execution will fail if neither the FreeIPA nor the pkg_resources
parse_version function are available.

This is a hotfix to allow deployments of clients, replicas and servers
with the dns_over_tls PR for freeipa: https://github.com/freeipa/freeipa/pull/7343/
ipaclient: client.update_ssh_keys has changed parameters,
options.dns_over_tls needs to be set for ipaclient_setup_nss.
ipareplica, ipaserver: Set new parameters globally in module_utils so
far: options.dns_over_tls, options.dns_over_tls_key, options.dns_over_tls_cert,
options.dot_forwarders and options.dns_policy.
The enablement for DNS over TLS for the deployment roles will be done later on.
FreeIPA commit ea0bf4020ce0b1e32572e128e9323c5af60ec93d
After an HSM replica install ensure all certs are visible
If a certificate on a token does not have NSS trust set then
it won't be visible in the softoken. This can be disconcerting
for those used to seeing all the certificates.
Loop through the possibilities and set no trust (or Peer) for
all the certificates on the token.
Also ensure that the CA certificate has the correct nickname.

replicainstall.install_ca_cert has been removed, paths.IPA_CERTUPDATE is
called instead if the client was configured before deploying with
iparepica role.
FreeIPA commit 8f25b2a74a587548976f3d29f0b69d566d70125d
Refactor CA file handling in replica installer
Clean up and remove obsolete code from ipa-replica-install. For several
versions replica installer first ensures that a host is an IPA client,
then promotes the client to a replica. The client installer code sets up
CA stores like IPA_CA_CRT already.
Changing the use of 'Exception' to 'RuntimeError' has the benefits of
making the error more specific and meaningful for what is being reported
and to remove warnings from linters (pylint).
The same change is applied to all deployment roles.
All imports that are only available after installing IPA need to be in a
try exception clause to be able to pass the fake execution test. The old
workaround "if 'ansible.executor' in sys.modules:" is not working with
this test anymore.
If the imports can not be done, all used and needed attributes are
defines with the value None.
The new function check_imports has been added to fail with module.fail_json
if an import exception occured and ANSIBLE_IPA_REPLICA_MODULE_IMPORT_ERROR is
not None. This function needs to be called in all modules.
The `copyright` date is extended with `-2022`.
In some cases ipa code is using sys.stdout.isatty. As stdout is mapped
to AnsibleModuleLog this call will lead in a traceback as it was not
defined.
The staticmethod isatty has been added to AnsibleModuleLog in ipaserver
role module_utils/ansible_ipa_server.py and in ipareplica role
module_utils/ansible_ipa_repica.py.

The SID is always generated in the command line installers in newer IPA
versions. This also needs to be done in the ipaserver and ipareplica roles.
For the IPA versions that are supporting this, the adtrust setup is always
executed to generated the SIDs, but only configures AD trust if
ipaserver_setup_adtrust or ipareplica_setup_adtrust is also enabled. A
check has been added to ipaserver_test and ipareplica_test to only enable
the SID generation for the IPA versions supporting this.

Python 3.11 dropped compat inspect.getargspec. As the roles and modules
need to support Python2 and Python3, the code for getargspec has been
copied from Python 3.10 and is added as a fallback as soon as getargspec
can not be imported from inspect. The copied getargspec is using
getfullargspec internally.
Fixes: #855 (Python's inspect.getargspec was removed in version 3.11)
https://pagure.io/freeipa/issue/8458 moved more things to the ipalib and
ipalib.facts:
- sysrestore has been moved from ipalib.install to ipalib
- is_ipa_configured has been moved from ipaserver.install.installutils to
ipalib.facts
Fixes: #394 (TASK [ipaclient : Install - IPA client test] Error: module
'ipalib.install.sysrestore' has no attribute
'SYSRESTORE_STATEFILE')
The import of ansible_ipa_server, ansible_ipa_replica and ansible_ipa_client
might result in a permission denied error for the log file. It seems that
for collections the module utils seem to be loaded before the needed
permissions are aquired now.
The fix simply adds a wrapper for standard_logging_setup that is called in
all the modules of the server, replica and client roles to do the loggin
setup as one of the first steps of the module execution and not before.
All module_utils are now providing the __all__ structure. Alse the imports
in the modules have been updated to only import freeipa sturctures from
module_utils.
The hidden replica support introduced some incompatible changes to replica
deployment. The methods find_providing_server and find_providing_serves
have been moved from ipaserver.install.service to ipaserver.masters.
Additionally the host_name argument for find_providing_server is a list
now. This breaks existing ipareplica Ansible modules ipareplica_prepare
and ipareplica_enable_ipa.
There have been missing settings that have not been provided to
ipareplica_setup_adtrust. These are: enable_compat, rid_base and
secondary_rid_base.
The settings rid_base and secondary_rid_base are now initialized in
ipareplica_prepare and propagated in the results.
The two settings netbios_name and reset_netbios_name are placed in the
adtrust binding in the adtrust.install_check call. These are now saved
when ipareplica_prepare finishes and are written back in the fist steps of
ipareplica_setup_adtrust to make adtrust.install working.
The settings add_sids and add_agents are now initialized in
ansible_ipa_replica in the same way as in ServerMasterInstall. These
settings are fixed in the replica deployment.

The installer logs have not been created using the ansible ipaclient,
ipareplica and ipaserver roles. This has been fixed and the installer
logs are created now. This is a new and fixed version of 2113c79 where
verbose mode is turned off.
The call of standard_logging_setup results in verbose and debug output in
the ansible modules. This needs to be done in an altenative way.
This reverts commit 2113c79111.
The configuration of DNS failed because of missing DNS settings in the
ipareplica_prepare and ipareplica_setup_dns.
Some fixed settings for use with DNSInstallInterface have been added
to ansible_ipa_replica:
options.dnssec_master = False
options.disable_dnssec_master = False
options.kasp_db_file = None
options.force = False
Fixes: #58 (install-replica fails: reverse_zones seems to be empty)
Fixes: #63 (ipareplica_setup_dns fails)
ipaserver_master_password and ipaserver_setup_ntp have been linked from
the ipaserver role before. With the move of the module_utils parts to the
specific role locations the use of ipaserver modules leads to the missing
dependency ansible_ipa_server, that is now only available in the server
role.
The ipaserver_master_password module has been replaced by the ipareplica
specific ipareplica_master_password module. The ipaserver_setup_ntp module
has been removed as the time related changes for replica are done in the
client install part.
Fixes: #59 (Module is missing interpreter line)
The installer logs have not been created using the ansible ipaclient,
ipareplica and ipaserver roles. This has been fixed and the installer
logs are created now.
Double imports and also the import of create_replica_config from
ipaserver.install.installutils have been removed. create_replica_config
is not used because the use of domain level 0 is not supported.
